In short
- We collect only what we need to sell you a template and help you with it.
- Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your full card number.
- We don’t use analytics or advertising cookies, and we don’t sell your data.
Who is responsible for your data
Desmond John Balmer, a sole trader trading as Notion Temps and Blueprintly is the controller of your personal data. Address: 172 Dumbarton Road, Old Kilpatrick, Glasgow, G60 5DU, United Kingdom. Email: hello@blueprintly.shop.
What we collect
- When you buy: your name, email address, billing address or country, what you bought and when, and limited payment details from Stripe (such as card type and the last four digits). Stripe collects your full card details directly.
- When you email us: your email address, the content of your message and any attachments.
- When you visit the website: our hosting provider records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.
How and why we use it
- To deliver your order and support you — because it is necessary for our contract with you.
- To keep tax and accounting records — because the law requires it.
- To prevent fraud and keep the website secure — because we have a legitimate interest in doing so.
- To send product news — only if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
We only share personal data with service providers who help us run the business, under contracts that protect it:
- Stripe — payment processing and fraud prevention. Stripe also acts as an independent controller for some purposes; see Stripe’s privacy policy.
- Our email provider — to send and receive emails.
- Our website host — to serve this website.
- Google Fonts — our pages load fonts from Google’s servers, which means your IP address is sent to Google when you visit.
- Professional advisers and authorities — such as our accountant, or HMRC when required by law.
When you duplicate a template, you do so inside your own Notion account, which is governed by Notion’s own privacy policy. We cannot see your workspace.
International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, transfers are protected by UK adequacy regulations, the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
How long we keep it
- Order and payment records: 6 years from the end of the tax year they relate to, as required by HMRC.
- Support emails: up to 2 years after our last contact.
- Website server logs: as set by our hosting provider, typically no more than 30 days.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email hello@blueprintly.shop. We’ll respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We’d appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Children
Our website and products are not aimed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
